The Troposphere is the lowest layer of the atmosphere. It ranges from 0 km to 12 km. The Troposphere contains 99 percent of all the air, all life and all weather. The gases that make up of the Troposphere are 78 percent nitrogen, 21 percent oxygen, .97 percent argon and .033 percent carbon dioxide.
