Matter is define as anything that takes up space and has mass. There are four phases of matter. These phases include solid, liquid, gas and plasma. The most common from of matter found on Earth is solid, liquid and gasses.

definite shape and definite volume

define as having indefinite shape and definite volume

Gasses are define as having

Plasma |
Plasma is define as
electrified matter "Ionized gas" which exists in areas or high temperature.
Plasma is the most common form of matter found in the universe and is
affected by electrical and magnetic fields.
