The Mesosphere

The Mesosphere is the third layer of Earth's atmosphere. The Mesosphere ranges from 48 km to 86 km in altitude. The Mesosphere marks the end of the Homosphere and the beginning of the Heterosphere. The Mesosphere is the coldest layer of the atmosphere and the temperatures reaches as low as 90 C or -130 F.
