Longitude and Latitude

Lines of Longitude run North to South and are read East to West. Lines of Latitude run East to West but are read North to South. Longitude and Latitude help us find were we are at any place on the Earth. Latitude 0 degrees is called the equator. Longitude 0 degrees is called the prime meridian. Longitude 180 degrees is called the international dateline.
