5. Define Key terms such as but not limited to Magnetic Domain, Magnetic Field and Magnetosphere.
6. Understand the difference between a conductor and an insulator and identify a few types of each mention in class or from the chapter.
7. What happens to a magnetic if it is broken and how do you destroy a magnet?
8. Know what and how a resistor works in relationship to a electrical current.
9. Know how to construct an electromagnet and terms associated with it.
10. Identify iron and nickel as major ferromagnetic minerals.
11. Be able to identify parts of a magnet from a diagram and be able to show how magnetic fields flow from it.
12. Define Magnetic Declination and why it occurs.
13. Understand why the relation of the binding of electrons to their atoms in order to determine whether the material is a good insulator or a good conductor.
14. Understand how solar wind creates Auroras.
