2. Understand that the Sun is the ultimate source of energy for the Earth's atmosphere.

3. How does elevation affect air pressure?

4. What is convection?

5. What are the layers of the atmosphere.

6. What are characteristics of each layer of the atmosphere?

7. Know what and how clouds are made.

8. Be able to distinguish the difference characteristics that make each cloud different.

9. Know the symbols for each type of cloud.

10. Identify the clouds from pictures provided. 

11. Understand and identify factors that changed our early atmosphere to what it is today.
